Job Description

We are looking for talented Android Developers who are passionate and know-how the process of building scalable and secure functionality on top of the Android platform. You will be associated with a qualified and experienced pool of people with whom you will build correlations by sharing your experience and growing your capabilities.

Primary Objectives

To contribute actively to the development and implementation of high-quality Android applications, grow practical skills in a professional environment, and work collaboratively as a valued member of the development team.

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and implement new features for native Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and company standards.
Actively participate in the entire application lifecycle, from design to deployment and post-launch maintenance.
Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and application crashes.
Integrate third-party libraries and APIs (e.g., RESTful APIs).
Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and share knowledge with the team.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team’s development processes and tools.

Technical Skills You Should Have

1-3 years of hands-on experience in native Android development, including projects from internships, personal portfolios, or previous roles.
Strong Proficiency in Java: A solid and practical understanding of the Java programming language.
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): A deep understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns.
Android SDK & Development: Experience with the Android SDK, Android Studio, and the mobile application development lifecycle.
Android Components: Knowledge of core Android components such as Activities, Fragments, Services, and Content Providers.
Third-Party Libraries: Experience implementing popular libraries, including some of Firebase’s services (e.g., Crashlytics, Analytics, Authentication) and monetization APIs like AdMob or Android In-app-billing.
Jetpack Libraries: Familiarity with modern libraries, such as WorkManager, and a working knowledge of others.
Material Design: A solid understanding of Material Design principles to create intuitive user interfaces.
AI Tools: Familiarity with AI-powered development tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT is a plus.
Agile Methodologies: Experience working within an agile development environment.
Data Structures & Algorithms: Fundamental knowledge of data structures and algorithmic concepts.
Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git is mandatory.
